Ivory has a degree from Evergreen State College with a focus in Audio Engineering and Hybrid Music Technologies. After attending the Shoreline Community College Audio Engineering technical program in 2000, she recorded and produced much of her own music. Wanting to gain greater skills she returned to school in 2012 to focus on developing a deeper understanding of both sound engineering and computer music. This is a collection of work using a variety of methods in sound synthesis.

Ivory Smith is a Seattle-based composer, performer, producer and teacher. She grew up studying piano, attended Cornish College of the Arts where she studied voice and composition, and subsequently graduated from Evergreen State College with a BA in Electronic Media.
